Setting up IPTV on a MAG device is one of the simplest ways to enjoy live TV, sports, and on-demand content. Unlike other devices, MAG boxes do not require apps, usernames, or passwords. Everything is handled through MAC address authorization.
This guide is fully updated for 2026 and designed specifically for USA users using a premium IPTV USA service.
How MAG IPTV Setup Works
MAG devices work differently from Android or Firestick devices. Instead of installing apps or logging in, MAG boxes use a MAC address–based system.
Once your MAG device’s MAC address is registered on the IPTV server, the device is automatically authorized. From there, the only step required on your side is setting the correct portal URL on the MAG box.
No apps. No complicated configuration. Just plug and play.
Where to Find Your MAG Device MAC Address
You can find the MAC address of your MAG device in two easy ways:
- On the back of the MAG box (printed on a sticker)
- On the screen when the MAG device boots up (usually displayed on the right side)
MAG device MAC addresses typically start with: 00:1A:79

What You Need to Do Before Activation
Once you have your MAG device MAC address, follow these steps:
- Send your MAC address to US IPTV 4K via WhatsApp or email.
- Our team will activate your device on our system.
- You will receive confirmation once your MAG device is ready.
This activation process usually takes only a short time.
How to Set the Portal URL on a MAG Device
After your MAG device is activated, you need to enter the portal URL provided by IPTV Empire.
Using your MAG remote control:
- Press Settings
- Go to System Settings
- Select Servers
- Open Portals
- Under Portal 1 URL, enter the portal link we provide
- Press OK to save
If a portal name field appears, you can leave it blank or enter any name.
Once saved, exit the menu and restart the MAG device.
When the device reboots, it will automatically connect to the IPTV portal and load all available channels.
